Besson "Prototype" Bass Trombone with serial number 12491, which dates it to around 1919 - 24. I don't know enough about trombones to make any categoric statement about the condition, and the price reflects this. The slide moves freely, it has a few minor dings and appears to be OK. There are leather collars around the bbusiness end of the slide. It has a fitted hard case which is in fair but serviceable condition.
