It is difficult to assess the age of this instrument, but the serial number (see picture) would indicate something post 1983. It needs an overhaul of the keys, in particular the octave key, and the way the crook fits needs adjustment. One of the left hand keys has lost its pearl finger piece. The lacquer is worn, which indicates it has had good use, but it seems to have been looked after: the pads look good and fairly new, and I think that if the octave key and crook are sorted out this would be a good useable saxophone. With a fitted hard case.
