Washboard with two ceramic blocks for the scrubbing part; the Dresden mark
is on the back of each (see picture below). One of the blocks has a chip out
of the back, also pictured; the chip is an inch at its widest part. There
are also a few small irregularities in the glaze, which I imagine is normal.
I’m not sure of the exact age of this piece but I estimate it to have
been made in the late 19th/early 20th century. The wooden frame is in good
condition. It has two pegs jutting out from the back which would have supported
it in the wash tub. 12 ½" (main body width) x 19 ½ "
