This washboard has rippled metal ribs in a slight bow front style, and a top panel also of metal (a bit rattly). There are two bracing struts at the back and the main panel is absolutely firm. There is a short split in the wood retaining the top of the scrubbing panel. 12¾" (main body width) x 22" (including legs of 3¾")
